MRSA liability

How can one find out if one contracted MRSA in a hospital? They give us big words but do not tell us if we had this condition.

This listener should consult his or her family doctor and get a definite diagnosis of MRSA.  If that diagnosis is positive then have your doctor give an opinion based on your medical history as to whether or not it is likely to have been contracted in the hospital.

From a legal point of view there are two things you have to prove about MRSA, firstly that you actually contracted it in the facility belonging to the person you are going to claim against (the hospital) and secondly that you contracted it as a result of their negligence.  This involves your doctor or specialist to whom your doctor might refer you, giving an opinion that on the balance of probabilities the MRSA was contracted in the hospital and as a result of the treatment outlined by you and backed up by the medical records that there was negligence on the part of the hospital in your treatment which you allowed you to contract MRSA.
