Our Lawyers

Brian O'Reilly is Senior Partner of the firm. He graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Civil Law Degree in 1973, qualified as a solicitor in 1974 and joined the law firm of McCann Fitzgerald as senior litigation assistant. In 1979 Brian O'Reilly established B.P.O'Reilly & Co., Solicitors in Tallaght, County Dublin, was appointed Commissioner for Oaths in 1980 and in 1983 he was appointed by the Chief Justice as Notary Public for Dublin City and County.

Brian O'Reilly now specialises in Commercial and Business Litigation with particular emphisis on the Commercial Court. As local Notary Public he also provides a full Notarial Service to businesses and the public for document certification relating to overseas business and property transactions. 

 

Patrick McMahon is Senior Litigation Partner with the firm. He graduated from UCD with a Bachelor of Civil Law degree in 1986 and qualified as a solicitor in 1989. Prior to joining the firm in 1987, Paddy worked for Independent Newspapers PLC. With over 20 years experience as a Trial Lawyer, he specialises in Accident Litigation and Employment and HR Law.  

 

 

 

Ms. Lorraine Kane is Senior Associate in charge of the firm's Commercial and Residential Conveyancing Department. A graduate of UCD with an Honours Bachelor of Business and Legal Studies Degree, and separately, a Diploma in Commercial Property, as a practising solicitor she is also a graduate of the Law Society of Ireland's Law School. Lorraine has extensive experience in dealing with property title transfer and property related Probate and Estate law. 

 

 

 

 

Nicola Somers is Senior Litigation Associate with the firm and is qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland and New Zealand. She was conferred with an Honours LLB Degree in 2003 and holds a Diploma in Commercial Litigation. She has seven years experience of working in legal practices including Owen A. McCarthy, Matheson Ormsby Prentice and A&L Goodbody. Nicola’s special areas of practice are Personal Injury Law, Competition Law and Judicial Review.

 

 

 

Ms. Michelle Cronin is Civil Litigator with special responsibility for the firm's Debt Recovery Service. Conferred with an Honours L.L.B. Law Degree in 2006, Michelle is a qualified U.S. Attorney (New York Bar).
